Well we have been in the San Blas for the past week.  It is a magical place.  The Kuna Indians are very sweet but unrelenting when it comes to selling their molas!  It is quite incredible the work the women do sitting in their very tiny huts with the thatched rooftops.  Their clothing is very colorful with emphasis on reds and yellows and their noses all have a gold ring in them.  The men are quite drab in comparison.  They have striking features but are dressed in western clothing with baseball caps!

We live here on king crab bought from the Kuna’s, fish speared by Chris or Jim, and conch found by yours truly.  Lobster is also a staple whenever any of us find them.

Jules, a friend we met years ago in Palau flew in a few days ago on the lobster plane.  We have been diving here in the Holandes Islands, in the northern part of the San Blas Island chain.  Playing volley ball on the beach, watching multiple movies, and cooking up a storm as I finally got my bread to rise and stay risen till cooked through.  Now Jules is going to try his luck at French bread!  Off to the movies (here in our living room).
